A broken tibia

Well, the first week of school started out much better than it ended. Fri J was home with a broken leg and waiting to get into the pediatric orthopedic doctor to get a cast put on. What an experience...wow, I don't wish that on anyone!! I'm glad the pain has subsided, the cast is in place and the bone has begun to heal. He's back to school tomorrow, but we are still figuring out the logistics of it all. He'll be in a pediatric wheelchair at school, so we'll need to see who is designated as the "pusher", until he gets the hang of "wheeling" himself around school, and visits to the potty are going to be another challenge that we need to figure out. We've got a system in place at home, but at school we've yet to figure it out!
